    I’ve heard it said (by Robert Stern, by Peter Eisenman, by Michael Graves and others) that “no one wants to enter a building in a crotch.” I had always thought they were arguing for a defined entry point, as opposed to a hidden slot or recess, but after seeing this I finally understand what they really meant.
(Obviously, this installation is the precursor to OMA’s CCTV. The similarity is stunningly disturbing.)
